MEET DARYL SIMPSON

Born in Flint, MI, and now residing in Davison, I actively contribute to my community as a member of the City Council and Planning Commission. My entrepreneurial spirit has been a lifelong driving force. From thriving in the film industry to successfully running my own business in Genesee County, I've honed diverse skills. I am a licensed Real Estate Agent, I'm also dedicated to my continuing education, currently pursuing Political Science and Business Marketing at Mott Community College.

In 2022, I took a bold step by running for Governor of Michigan. This experience deepened my commitment to enhancing the lives of those in my community. My vision extends beyond the present, aiming to attract new residents and create a brighter future for both current and future generations, including my three children. While I've faced the challenges of divorce, loss and subsequent homelessness, I emerged resilient and more driven to succeed in life than ever before. This experience has reinforced my determination to build a community that supports families and those in their time of need.

With a strong foundation in entrepreneurship, public service, and a passion for continual learning, I am dedicated to making a lasting positive impact on the place we call home. As a member of the City Council and Planning Commission, it has been an honor to witness the strength and diversity of our residents. It is essential to have a representative who values community input and actively seeks your opinions. Your concerns shape the decisions that impact our daily lives, our families, and our future. I am committed to being a candidate who listens intently, consults with you regularly, and ensures that your voice resonates in every decision made. Together, we can forge a path that reflects the collective aspirations and priorities of our community, creating a place where each resident feels heard and empowered.
